Richard Rohr, a Franciscan priest since 1961, is internationally known for his writings and recordings on spirituality. He is the author of Everything Belongs, From Wild Men to Wise Men, The Enneagram: A Christian Perspective, The Naked Now, Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life,  and Immortal Diamond: The Search for Our True Self, as well as many other books and articles. Rohr believes that the proclamation of the gospel is his primary call and carries that message in many different forms. Themes he addresses around the world in service of the gospel include Scripture as liberation, the integration of action and contemplation, community building, peace and justice issues, male spirituality, the Enneagram, and eco-spirituality. In addition, he has partnered in retreats with other leaders in the contemplative movement. Since 1986, Rohr has been the Founding Director of the Center for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico, where he lives.
